Readjustment Counseling - Wichita Falls - 1:00 pm in Wichita Falls

Lawton Red River Vet Center provides Readjustment Counseling for veterans of the Vietnam War, Gulf War, OEF/OIF Wars. 

Services consist of Individual and Group Therapy.

We, as the Veterans Alliance of Texas State (VATS), are a chartered student veteran organization that strives to recreate that sense of camaraderie experienced in military service. Texas State University appreciates their veterans by offering various resources which include personal and professional counseling, career services before and after degree completion, and connecting student veterans with each other.

Peer to peer support meetings take place on the first and third Mondays of each month in Sherman, Texas. (On holidays, always call the group facilitator to confirm meeting.)

BEITZ, Inc., serving Cook, Grayson and Fannin Counties now occupies the first floor of the Modern Building and are looking for more Veterans to send to the peer facilitator training.

The Monday group welcomes Veterans and family members of any of have experienced trauma, especially wartime trauma.  This is a safe place for you.

What do County Veteran Service Officers do?

County Veteran Service Officers work with the Department of Veterans Affairs and other nationally chartered veterans organizations to assure that veterans and their dependents receive the entitlements they deserve.

What is the Military Veteran Peer Network?

With the peer-to-peer network, veterans go through a training course that teaches them how to facilitate groups of veterans. Once trained, they create local community peer groups. Because members of the group set the rules, no two peer groups are the same.
