TexVet, short for the Texas Veterans project, is the collaborative effort of federal, state and local organizations, that focuses on bringing our military members and those that care about them a wealth of resources. The resources identified through TexVet are meant for anyone who is serving or has served in any branch of the military, as well as the others who care about a service member.
Celebrate "Warrior Care Month" with the Department of Defense's (DoD) new site which aims to centrally locate the programs and services offered by both the DoD and Veterans Affairs for Active Duty service members and Veterans.
If you do not find what you are looking for on our site and you would like to speak directly with an information specialist, please call 2-1-1. 2-1-1 is a non-emergency telephone service that provides information and referrals from organizations across the state. When you speak with a 2-1-1 Texas specialist, it could be to your benefit to explain to them what your military-related status is, but that is not a requirement, and the specialist will not ask about that unless you mention it. All information you share with 2-1-1 is confidential.
